The Preview of the International Exhibition of Creative Women “European Bridges,” the 12th edition, took place at the Art Museum in Constanta. “European Bridges” 2014 is a project supported by Fildas Art, Creative Women’s Association for Plastic Arts in Romania and Catena pharmacies, by means of the programme Catena for Art, as a sponsor.
The opening remarks of the preview were made by Mr. Radu George, Vice President of Fildas and Catena Group. Then followed the speech of Mrs. Rodica Xenia Constantin, President of Creative Women’s Association for Plastic Arts in Romania, but also of Mrs. Doina Pauleanu, Manager of the Art Museum in Constanta, who presented the women artists attending the workshop-camp which took place in Eforie Sud.
The creations are exhibited at the Art Museum in Constanta
Among the artists can be mentioned: Miriana Savova (painter – Bulgaria), Erika Sellmann Busching (painter – Germany), Karin Welke (painter – Germany), Karla Kassennar (painter – Netherlands), and from Romania: Ruxandra Ilfoveanu, Maria Pelmus, Alma Redlinger, Vioara Bara, Dora Dumitrescu, Carmen Poenaru, Sorina Tibacov, Marinela Mantescu, Manuela Botis, Carmen Tepsan (sculptor).
The creations of all these women artists may be admired during the International Exhibition “European Bridges,” hosted by the Art Museum in Constanta until October 16, between 09:00 and 20:00 (closed on Monday and Tuesday).
