The 2014 Danube Marathon, a successful ending of season for CATENA RACING TEAM. Organised by the Riders Club, the Danube Marathon mountain bike competition marked the end of the cycling  competitive season.

The members of CATENA RACING TEAM lined up at the take-off of the competition which totted up no less than 45 kilometres of rugged field, with thick portions of mud and with foul wind! A genuine cycling marathon on the bank of the river, which gathered hundreds of participants. They started from the Prundu village and, although the weather got worse, the cold did not bother the bicyclists from the Cycling Danube Marathon, who enjoyed the diverse landscape along the Danube watercourse (South of the Giurgiu county, the 456-462 river km area).
